i have other "reader" apps... Stanza is my favorite... I greatly appreciate the ease with which i can navigate the free book sites... I have almost 100 books on my iphone now... thanks for this wonderful free app!!!!'

This app is everything you could imagine it could be! You can download loads of free books (good ones) and you can view it with a black or white background or vertical or horizontal. You can also view it fullscreen and a tap will tell you what chapter you are on/what page/what percentage you are into the book. This app does everything but read FOR you. Turning pages is easy and mindless. The app automatically keeps your spot. Also you can highlight text and look up words you aren't as familiar. People expect this app to give you a foot massage or something....why does it have 3 stars? Def 5 stars!!!

Update 10/14/09:
As long as you don't use mobipocket format things load quickly. It actually loads mobipocket now but it's way slower than any other, so I'd avoid that for the time being. Lit works especially well.
Utter failure
After a minute of not loading a mobipocket book, I closed the app. Then Stanza wouldn't open at all. Deleted immediately after

I won't mention that other well-known, non-iPhone ereader, but Stanza is all the ereader I need or crave. This app gets used A LOT on my iPhone.
