Pianist is a user-friendly app that acts as a virtual piano. This app can be used by music lovers, songwriters, singers, pianists, and voice teachers, among others. There is a full 88 key piano keyboard, and the sound quality is great. It can be used on-the-run to record melodies, find the key to a particular song, act as a pitch-pipe, practice chords, etc. Each key can be labeled, and it has the ability to zoom in and out such that a wide range of keys can be played simultaneously. Definitely a piano app to check out.

This would be 5 stars if this could output to midi. Recorder can host a URL or send an email to get your recorded sounds to your computer. This software should do the same with midi files.

What a great aplication. It is so accurate. Just wished it had different pianos. You can also use more than 3 fingers. It has such an amazing sound, hook it up to a stereo a hear a huge difference.
PLEASE MAKE THIS APP LOUDER OUTPUT. IT'S VERY LOW.

Cool. I love it. I like to write songs but most of the time they come to me when I'm away from my piano and by the time I get home I already forgot the melody... So.. problem solved!
P.S. When is guitarist going to be available at the app store? Do I really need to jailbreak my iPod to get it?

I would give it five stars, but I really want them to make an update where you can play music at the same time to play along.
