Cheap Gas finds the gas stations closest to the iPhone's current location that have the best gas prices. This app only has one feature, but that one feature is good enough to give this app a Best rating. Anyone and everyone who drives should get this app! This app can be especially useful to those who do a lot of traveling in the car and want to know where to find the best prices in unfamiliar places.

Thanks so much for this app. It works as advertised and has already saved me some money since the gas station down the street was $.10/gallon cheaper.
Needs work but good for the price - 2 stars - November 2, 2009
When I first got this app, I almost deleted it and gave it one star because it kept crashing and when it did work, it would not show stations anywhere near me. The most recent update fixed a lot of the bugs. I don't get crashes anymore and the proximity to the stations is a lot better. However, it still drops stations. What I mean is I can open it one time and see the station right around the corner. The next time I open it, that station is no longer on the list. I like being able to update the prices of the pumps and it only takes a few minutes for them to show up. My biggest complaint now is the dropping stations and the fact that I have to refresh periodically to get it to find where I am at. I am running this on a 3GS. Update: lack of updates and fixes is pushing this app near removal.

I think this app is pretty good, but it is only as accurate as gasbuddy's website is. So if users don't report station prices accurately, your time could be wasted going to a station.
Reasonably good and free - 3 stars - October 31, 2009
Tried it around where I live and this apps shows me where the cheap gas supposed to be. Reasonably good and nobody can really complain about the price because it is free.
Needs update - 2 stars - October 30, 2009
Works fine in town. Needs to be able to access iPhone's built-in GPS and accept town names. Having to exit this app to visit USPS' site for Zip Code is just silly. (Lazy programmer?)
