Google Earth brings the power of the popular desktop program directly into the user's hand. This app is even better than the original desktop program, and for this reason it has been rated a best app. It includes features like Terrain View, which shows the user a horizontal view of the terrain in that area. This feature is activated by simply tilting the device. It also displays icons on the map representing places of interest. These icons, when pressed, show the user a wikipedia article about that location.
"The same amazing Earth touring app found on the desktop, now spinnable via multi touch. Honestly if someone told me two years ago I would have a functional Google Earth app on my phone, I wouldn't have believed them. This is now."
