Wings is a flight simulator without anything else. No cockpit, just a nice 3d environment with accelerometer steering, and there are no objectives. For a relaxing "flight" while listening to music, pick this app. However, it's not really a game.

Very nice, just a few suggestions. - 4 stars - October 13, 2009
I am a student pilot and when I saw this app a few months ago I grabbed it because I wanted a simulator for when I'm on the go, I'd really like to see a better instrument panel, the atitude indicator and compas is nice, perhaps add an airspeed indicator and heading indicator. Also a few buildings and an airport with runways in each world. I also like the throttle setting. Overall very nice.

I've had this app for a little under a year and it's pleasantly enjoyable enough.. But, I must humbly offer some advise to the developers. Adding detail to the respective landscapes such as creeks, rivers, waterfalls, trees, bushes, roads, an occasional farm(windmill,barn,etc.) and improving the texture mapping would complete this stress reliever and make for an even more enjoyable experience.

It would be great if there was a mode to make day into night in each map, also have a glowing light around you. So please MTV pimp my game!!!
